Lamentations 2:9-11

⁹ Her gates have sunk into the ground;
    ^(A)he has ruined ^(B)and broken her bars;
^(C)her king and princes are among the nations;
    the law is no more,
and ^(D)her prophets find
    no vision from the Lord.
¹⁰ The elders of the daughter of Zion
    ^(E)sit on the ground ^(F)in silence;
^(G)they have thrown dust on their heads
    and ^(H)put on sackcloth;
the young women of Jerusalem
    have bowed their heads to the ground.
^11 (I)My eyes are spent with weeping;
    ^(J)my stomach churns;
^(K)my bile is poured out to the ground
    ^(L)because of the destruction of the daughter of my people,
^(M)because infants and babies ^(N)faint
    in the streets of the city.
